Terms

• All fixed packages are on seat in the coach basis.
• The vehicle size depends upon the total number of passengers booked.
• If in case of single lady or single man (single - to be understood as any person who is alone), room sharing may not be possible as per itinerary. In such case, single supplement charges to be paid extra.
• The passengers can select their private tour as per their requirement with a special rate. Either you can use plan your trip facility in our website vivekanandatravelspltd.com otherwise you can sent your requirements to our email narendrancvt@gmail.com or sales@vivekanandatravelspltd.com. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
• All Himalayan pilgrims should bring , woolen sweater, woolen monkey cap, gloves and socks and an umbrella
• Request to Pilgrims who were unfit for travelling to high altitude please avoid booking particular Packages
• Pick up and drop will be provided only on group basis. A minimum of 6 passengers required in a group for providing pick up and drop. Extra charges applicable for separate pick up and drop.
• Places of visits, subject to opening for public visit only. If in case any monuments, place of visit is closed for public entry due to any reason, the company is not liable for the same.

RISKS & LIABILITY

M/s Vivekananda Travels Private Limited will put every effort to make your journey smooth
and pleasant. However, all the tours in Tibet are conducted strictly under the rules &
regulation of the Tibet Tourism Board (TTB). Therefore, M/s Vivekananda Travels Private
Limited and our counterparts in Nepal & Tibet shall not be responsible for any change and
alteration in the program due to unavoidable circumstances such as landslide,road blockage,
flood,snow, political unrest, diplomatic unrest, and cancellation of flight, delay arrival,
sickness or accidents. Any extra cost arising due to the above circumstances shall be borne
by the clients on the spot itself.

Excludes

• TCS {Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for Outbound/International Tour Packages to paid additional over and
  above the mentioned tour cost. Calculation will be as below: Tax Collection at Source (TCS) at the rate of
  5% up to outbound tour of INR 10 lakh and 20% beyond INR 10 lakhs per individual payer per annum
  will be levied under section 206C(1G)(b) of the Income Tax Act on outbound tour services. The TCS
  collected will be reflected in the 26AS of the passenger in whose name receipt is raised (Payer/s for the
  package) for claiming Income Tax credit. Hence the name of the payer & the associated PAN Number on
  the receipt should be reconfirmed at the time of making the payment for the holiday package booking.In
  case of no Income Tax Payable against your PAN, you can claim the refund of the TCS amount at the
  time of filing your IT return}
• Horse/Pony charges for Parikramana and personal porter if hired (Approximately INR
  50000)

• Any extra nights in hotels or guest house due to bad weather, road blocks, strikes,

  unforeseen reasons which are beyond our control

• We advise to take a personal travel insurance covering adventure travel including
  services like emergency hospitalisation, compassionate visit and repatriation to meet
  any unforeseen & uncertain events, if any. A copy of such travel insurance to submitted
  to M/s Vivekananda Travels Private Limited for reference and records

BOOKING PROCEDURE

• Completely filled and signed Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Application Form
• Clear scanned copy of your Original Passport with a validity of minimum 6 months from
  the date of travel and with two blank pages
• Original Passport should reach our Head Office on or before April 20th 2026
• 4 recent passport size photos
• Clear scanned copy of your Voter ID card
• Clear scanned copy of your PAN Card
• Advance amount for booking confirmation INR 75,000/- per pilgrim
• Medical Certificate to be produced by April 20th 2026 (We advise to undergo medical
  check up before confirming your Yatra)

WHO CAN TRAVEL ?

• Individuals who are physically fit to travel up to an altitude of 19000 ft above sea level
  can participate in the pilgrimage
• Age limit - Individuals who equals or less than 70 years of age as per Passport and Voter
  ID Card on July 1, 2026
• This package is limited to Indian Passport Holders. For NRI/Foreign passport Holders
  pilgrimage can be arranged but kindly contact +91 8138918980 for more details.

HEALTH & FITNESS

• Before confirming the pilgrimage, we advise to consult your physician with the health
  fitness checklist available at our offices to ensure your physical fitness to attend this
  pilgrimage.
• In the month of April 2026, all pilgrims should get certified by a registered medical
  practitioner that the pilgrim is fit enough to travel to high altitude of approximately
  19000ft ASL. Health Examination Report Format and Medical Certificate Format will be
  shared once the package is confirmed.
• Officials from Tibetan side might/may not check health fitness during the journey and it
  is purely on random basis. Clearing those fitness check is mandatory for completing the
  pilgrimage.
• M/s Vivekananda Travels Private Limited will organise a one day Yatra Camp at
  Kozhikode during April 2026. All confirmed pilgrims should mandatorily attend the
  same

Cancellation & Refund

• All notice of cancellation must be sent to our head office in written in the prescribed
  cancellation format and by email.
• Verbal cancellations will not be entertained
• Cancellation intimation before 30/3/2026 - INR 37500/- will be refunded.
• Cancellation intimation between 1/4/2026 to 30/4/2026, upon receiving second
  instalment of tour package cost, INR 1,25,000 will be refunded. Advance INR 75,000/-
  will be forfeited.
• Cancellation intimation between 1/5/2026 to 10/5/2026, upon receiving second & third
  instalment of tour package cost, INR 1,00,000/- will be refunded. Advance INR 75,000/-
  & second instalment INR 1,25,000/- will be forfeited.
• Thereafter, once passport/documents is sent for visa process, cancellations will not be
  entertained. Cancellation will not be entertained after 10/5/2026.
• Refunds will only be made through bank transfers to pilgrim bank account directly in 15
  banking days upon approving cancellation application

CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY -
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We may be obliged to cancel the pilgrimage trip by reasons like border closure, permit not
issued or cancelled by the government, war,riots, civil disturbances,strikes, natural disasters,
diplomatic unrest, terrorist activities or threat of such and closure of airport etc. Under such
circumstances, we will advise you as soon as possible if we can offer you an alternative trip of
comparable standard (after deducting expenses incurred) or make a refund of the money
paid to us after deducting the expenses that was spent to make the bookings of flights, visas,
permits, hotels, vehicle booking and other incurred expenses. Please be informed that
sometimes, Chinese government personnel will refuse to give you entry even if you have
permit and visa if they think you are not eligible based on their criteria. In that case, you
may have to return to Kathmandu.
In case of route closure/other unforeseen circumstances, company reserves all rights to
change/cancel itinerary according to pilgrim safety.

Children’s policy

• Children’s between 5-11 years will get 25% reduction in tour charge (Separate accommodation not available)

Flight/Railway Ticketes

• The Passengers booking for package tours should give a copy of air ticket/ train ticket to the head office at Calicut before 15 days of the tour starting date.
• Vivekananda Travels is not in any way responsible regarding the confirmation of train/flight tickets
• Cancellation of tickets, both air/ rail, refund policies are as per the air/train authority's rules, regulations, terms and conditions only.

Payment policy

• Advance amount of INR 75,000/- to be paid at the time of Yatra Booking to confirm your
  slot in the package
• Balance package amount to be paid in instalments as stated below:
  •   INR 1,25,000 on or before April 1 2026
  •  INR 1,00,000 on or before May 1 2026
  • Applicable TCS to be paid in June 2026
• Payments to be made directly to the official bank accounts of M/s Vivekananda Travels
  Private Limited only. M/s Vivekananda Travels Private Limited has only accounts with
  HDFC Bank and Canara Bank, Kozhikode Branch. Please check Bank Account Name
  before payment transfer and request to check Account Name if payments done through
  Razorpay Payment Gateway or UPI transfers. UTRN/Screenshot to be shared to
  reservations team.
• Please ensure to collect your receipt copy from the booking offices on successful payment to ensure booking confirmation and request you to verify the details before leaving the counter.
• Cheques not accepted

  During online transfer using various mode please make sure the recipient name is M/s Vivekananda Travels Private Limited or M/s Vivekananda Holidays Private Limited. Never make payments to any individual accounts/staff bank accounts. Company will not be liable for such payments in any manner

• Currency used in India - Indian Rupee
• Currency used in Nepal - Nepalese Rupee
  Currency used in Tibet Side - Chinese Currency - Yuan
• Only Chinese Yuan are used in Tibet side. USD can be easily converted to Yuan from Tibet
  banks.
• INR can be converted to Yuan in Nepal however rates may be higher and are less
  common
• USD and NPR can be converted to Yuan in Nepal
• Use clean and undamaged notes only to avoid inconvenience
